It fails everytime with the same error 0xFB I managed to get the application installed using a different link for "offline" installation. Cant remember where I found the link. When starting Xbox beta application a message say that an important component is missing being gaming-services and it will try to install it.

I've had exactly the same problem this morning. That error was showing up when I was trying to install Void Bastards, but further down the page it said that I didn't have the correct version of windows. I think that's the real reason, not administrator privileges. The Administrator Approval error is probably erroneous.
The standard Windows Update page in the system settings is telling me that Windows is up-to-date, but it isn't. I haven't got the May update yet. After spending about an hour jumping through hoops trying and failing to get Windows to update itself, I've discovered that they have a "Windows Update Assistant" program buried away on their site that isn't linked to from any of the troubleshooting pages I was visiting.
Really smart move there, Microsoft. I'm currently downloading the latest update via that, fingers crossed that will sort out all my problems. Hopefully your issue is something similar and this will help you, too. Note: YMMV if you are very low on drive space - it may not allow the process to begin at all. I had 3 games stuck on my hard drive like this. The third was no longer on Gamepass, and in the xbox app it does not allow you to install without purchasing.
However, the Windows Store will, so I installed it from there, which made it appear in the Xbox app, and I uninstalled it from there. At first, perfectly fine. Downloaded and deleted many games and was having fun. Then Halo wouldn't launch for some reason. Said there was an error on a 1. I tried to retry and it wouldn't reset. So I decided to delete the game. Then, as I go to redownload the game, I can't, I don't have enough space. Turns out, Halo is still on my computer. So, I frustratingly delete several other games and programs so I can redownload it again, mad at the fact that gigs were gone and now I needed more. I start the download, and within seconds it has completed.
I launched, and yep, it worked. Guess the game never really deleted itself from my computer. It then became a cycle of playing for sometime, then "deleting" and "reinstalling", then the cycle repeats. My dollar month was running out and I decided with the issues it wasn't worth resubscribing.
But, I found out that I could get the normal plan I had the ultimate plan for a dollar as well. I redownload Halo I deleted it for real since I thought I was done with it and gamepass and it works. I also try to download Doom 64 but I ran into some trouble. That was yesterday. Today, I thought I would indulge in more Halo. I then found out that I would not, for Gamepass has completely and totally fucked itself. I cannot install any game, I cannot get the space back from deleting Halo.
The Xbox App seems to acknowledge this problem, shining a big blue banner at the top stating "having trouble launching or installing? Annoying, but relatively painless.
Or so I thought. The Update center informs me that "my shit is completely fucked" and I am missing some updates. Weird, I just installed a big update some weeks ago! Okay, let's scan for an update. Nothing happens. Again and again I scan, nothing happens. I troubleshoot the updater. I spend a hour googling for answers.
No meu caso, o problema estava na firewall. Alterei essa politica para ligar a firewall do windows e ficou a funcionar em todos os terminais. Num pc com Win 7 e no qual instalei o Win 10 tenho este problema. No comments. Nem no xp pirata que tive, NUNCa tive uma tela azul, nem no vista e muito menos no w7 w8 nem me atrevi ter. Consigo acede ao start menu mas nao consigo fazer shutdown.
Alguem me pode ajudar? Eu tive esse problema e tentei de tudo menos formatar. Acabei de testar. Depois de inserir os comandos, durante minutos ele trabalhou e devolveu mensagens em vermelho. Resolvido, obrigado pela ajuda. Mas ainda bem que existem canais legais como este que nos ajudam.
Atualizei o windows 10 no meu portatil acer mas inicia a sessao, mas depois fica preto, nao se ve nada. Como posso resolver o problema? Muito obrigado! Como chegar no powershell co por outra maneira?
